What's the pain of a septum piercing & a tounge piercing on a scale of 10? I have a nose piercing, how much more or less does it hurt than a nose.

Septum piercings are typically a bit painful but it depends on your pain tolerance.

I went with my cousin to get her tongue pierced and she said it didn't hurt at all.
but it does depend on your pain tolerance.

I don't have my septum but I did have a tongue piercing a few years ago. I didn't think the piercing process hurt at all, like the other ladies said it was like a little pinch. BUT after about 24-48 hours went by my tongue was super duper swollen for about the next week. It was difficult to eat but not too painful. I've had my tongue, librae, monroe, ears and nipples pierced and obviously the nipples were the most painful, and the tongue was second. As for the septum, I've gone with a few friends to watch them get theirs pierced, and they all pulled through it like champions with no issues. Everybody is different though so it may or may not be painful at all. Post a pic if you get them done! :)

I have both my septum and my tongue done, personally for me my septum really didn't hurt that much, it was over super quickly (I had to ask if the lady was done cause it was over that quickly) lol! I'd say about a 5 on my scale but I do have a fairly high pain tolerance so it'll depend on that for you, your eyes will water with both piercings regardless of if it actually hurts a lot or not haha. As for the tongue, really isn't painful just make sure you go to a good piercer as there are a lot of nerves and veins in your tongue they have to look for, it's swollen pretty bad for about a week, maybe more depending on how well you take care of it and how your body reacts to it, the swelling for me got bad about the third day (at it's highest swelling, lol) and then started to go down about day 5. :)
