Is it bad when I go into the drugstore to buy a foundation or powder that I want to rip the package open and swatch it before buying ? Why dont drugstores offer testers to see if the color in the pan is the same on my skin ? Would it really be so bad to open the package , I wound up having to buy three different foundations because the color in the pan didnt match how it looked on my skin, ugh, so irritating.

I think all of us just want to open it, haha, but wanting certainly isn't as bad as doing.
And that post is nowhere near long, hahahaha.

I always end up finding an open one already & sort of just help myself there. lol
If they wanted to prevent this, they'd out testers out!

Drugstores don't offer testers because if they did, they would get stolen. Most testers would be gone, and new ones would have to be made everyday.
However, walgreens and cvs have great return policies. Buy it. If it's not your color, bring it back. I work at a drugstore and we always do makeup returns.

Go to Walmart they don't care! I was once looking at a Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush and then I dropped it and the whole blush fell out and the packaging broke. I just put it back and acted like nothing happened hahaha.

Drugstores in the UK have testers. I understand that you would want to swatch them first but wouldn't you be pissed if you bought something and got it home only to find it had been opened already? :P

Believe me, you will be hated if you open a package. Just buy it and return it. But me smart and look at the product in a mirror beside your face before you open it.
