In my experience, dandruff shampoo only makes the problem so much worse. I recommend applying aloe vera gel to your scalp, it hydrates it and keeps it from getting flaky. I recommend doing it every week or so.

I don't recommend it. I've heard the aloe veta gel and you should try that or invest in a high quality shampoo.

In my dandruff troubling experience I have found that using a clear gel shampoo first (any in paticular) before applying the shampoo after the first rinse... I use head and shoulders for men I find it works better,., however there is a shampoo by nuetragina called t-gel and it works great and you only need a small amount! It's a bit expensive but it's worth it in my opinion

There is a difference between dandruff and dry scalp. most people with dry scalp treat it as dandruff and make it even worse. either way I don't recomended celsun blue or head and shoulders. Neutrogena t gel is your best bet but make sure it's not just dry scalp before you use it

I've always hated Selsun Blue shampoo. It smells awful and did nothing to help. Aloe Vera does a terrific job and it's good for your hair. My dad use to put skinned aloe Vera in the blender then add it to his shampoo. Not sure if it did much for him or if he was thinking when he did it. But that's one way to do it. Haha. I didn't actually use his shampoo so I can't say if it worked or not. Just make sure to mix it before you apply to your hair bc the Vera sinks to the bottom. That is, if you try it. :)

Netrogen t gel is the bestttt! Sometimes tho, it may not be dandruff...it may be something called craddle cap which is mostly found on babys but can happen on adults as well:) so you may have a dry scalp or it may be dandruff...either way t gel is amazing!
