In my opinion, it's pretty damaging. Hot air goes through the tubes straight to the roller onto your hair aaaand that's a lot of heat touching your hair. But almost any way to get waves is damaging.

Is it permanent or is it just like regular rollers?

Ya is it permanent waves?

Shanae J.
No, it's temporary, although I'm pretty sure there's a way to make it permanent. It's A LOT of heat.

Interesting.. A few years back like 6 years ago I heard about an electric perm? ( more so used buy Asians because it was one of the best ways to perm their hair as to being stubborn to curling) Anyway it was supposed to be a new way of perming the hair giving it natural waves and not as damaging.. I never got it at the time because it cost about $200-300 some places more according to length, but has anyone else heard of this or had it done?
