Help!!?? How to use this!

I bought this heat protectant about a year ago because jlovesmac on youtube raved about it and I thought oh well lets try it, but I tried it a couple times and it just doesn't work for me, I feel like I'm putting hairspray and my hair ends up even more frezzy after I straightned it , do you guys know how to use it??

Or maybe all the ingridients don't like my hair at all lol its just sad because its pricey and I can't get any use out of it.
