How Long To Keep The Dye In?

Hey ladies! As you know I've been dying my hair for a while now, but I've been curious. Can you leave the dye in longer than the recommended time for a brighter/more rich color? I only use Garnier, and I'm using Garnier Intense Red this time. Could I leave it in longer for better color? Or no? Thank you!! :)

I leave mine in longer than the directions say, but never no more than an hour.

I wouldn't attempt it, especially with box dye, it'll make your hair fall out.

When I use punky colours I'll keep it in overnight and it makes it last so much longer and brighter but I never keep it in longer than recommended for box dyes. Punky colours is almost like a hair mask so it actually benefits your hair the longer it's in but boxed dyes could make your hair fall out or irritate your skin.

You are supposed to keep the color in for 30 minutes then wash it out
