My friend did it and she has REALLY curly hair and within a month it was back to curly again so in my perspective don't do it but maybe it was only like that for her.

I have curly hair, and I really can't keep it under control. I want to get it permanently straightened. How much does it cost normally, and is it worth the money and the damage?
Also, how long does it last?
