So I get really dry skin on my face in the winter (not an uncommon thing I guess). I've tried creams but it always comes back. Does anyone have any tips to help me keep the dry skin away??

I tried organic shea butter an it helps. Idk if it's anything that would really make it go away completely

You could cleanse and do a sugar scrub [probably once a week] to get rid of the dead skin, then moisturize with shea butter...not too much, but just a dime-sized amount at night before you go to bed. That's what I do, at least. [:

I have super dry skin. My #1 tip is avoid anything that foams. Foam is not your friend. Switch to a cream or, even better, an oil cleanser.
I did a blog post on tips and products I use to survive the winter

Try rose hip oil I have the same problem. I apply just a little before bed and my night qv moisturizer on top and it really helps!

Try doing a plain whole greek yogurt mask, it leaves your skin so soft!!

I exfoliate 2-3 times a week and avoid sugar scrubs. Salt is better like the lush ocean salt. Before I exfoliate I wash my face with a gentle cream cleanser and after I tone and moisturizer with a product that's not too heavy.

I started a thread because all of a sudden my face became super dry!! I received great suggestions. But since I'm kind of broke this week (got to pay rent lol) I started putting jojoba oil, which I already have- and have done before, and it has seemed to help.
