So I have Mac matchmaster in 1.0 ( I know that doesn't really matter but eh) and I was just wondering if it's good for oily skin? I have EXTREMELY oily skin like its reall bad ok and I also have nars sheer glow and loreal true match super blendable foundation. The Mac just matches my skin best. Which is best for oily skin?

I heard L'Oreal true Match isn't good at all for extremely oily skin. NARS sheer glow is kind of a hit and miss based on what I've heard.

I've heard the MAC pro longwear is better for oily skin.
I'm actually going to get that foundation as well. (-:

I have the Machmaster (same shade haha) and it is supposed to be for oily skin! I talked to the Mac make up artist and she told me its for oily gals. So, yes it is. Use Matt primer under the foundation. The foundation dries Matt which is a plus for oily complexion. Use Matt powder as well!! :) I have loreal true match as well, lol. It dries to Matt as well and gives nice buildable coverage. I am oily as well and if I use Matt primer and Matt powder I'll be all good :)

Also I suggest a good skin care as well just to get the oiliness under the control. Oil control 'tissues' will be good :)

Sisi I have to disagree, I have used loreal true match tons of times and it's horrible for oily skin, I've talked to other girls on here about this subject and they feel the same way.
I have to set the loreal true match with a matte setting powder and the urban decay all nighter setting spray because if I don't I look like a greasy mess.
it still makes me oily after two hours.

Matchmaster should be good for oily skin, try setting with powder after.
If you have really oily skin then I don't think nars sheer glow will work for you-

I really think it depends on how oily you are. If you're an oil slick then I recommend prolongwear if you're combination you're more likely to be able to comfortably wear matchmaster or studio fix fluid. They are all designed to control oil however as I stated above it really does just depend on your skin. If you're unsure which one will work for you ask for a sample, try it out a week and if you like it come back to purchase.

Try Mac studio fix fluid, I use it , it works really good at controlling my oils thru out the day.
