Try the Rimmel matte bb cream!

Elf acne foundation is awesome! I have dry skin and I wasn't able to use it because it is very matte and I wasn't really expecting it to be so. My face tends to get flakey and this wasn't ideal for my skin type , but the wear time and the ability to keep my t-zone matte was bomb as heck.

I have dry skin and actually like the Rimmel stay matte :) it is very matte but I don't find it to sink into lines or anything like hat. I only apply it with a flat top kabuki so that could be a factor and I use a minimal amount which provides excellent coverage :)

The Rimmel stay matte is pretty decent, it can go a little patchy on me but I think that's really more to do with my dry skin haha! But it stays a lovely matte finish, doesn't oxidise and it applies well you only need a small amount and a good buffing brush. I personally set it with a normal powder than the stay matte powder, something either balancing or translucent just to lift some of the matte finish, but that's purely preference doll x

Also, be sure to use a good moisturiser and not apply too much of the Stay Matte, or else it does look a little cake as the girls above said ^

I've tried both the Rimmel Stay Matte and the Wet N Wild Coverall. The Rimmel one will keep you matte all day long (maybe a little too matte lol), though it does crease if you don't set it with a powder. The only other drawback of this product is that you can definitely tell that you have makeup on, as it's not the most natural looking product on the skin (although it doesn't look bad At All!). As for the Wet N Wild Coverall, it is very creamy and blend able, although after around 6 hours of wear it doesn't look to hot lol ( it becomes oily, creamy, etc.) I hope this helped!

I actually liked the Rommel stay matte, I apply my with a flat top kabuki which I spray with fix+ since the formula is super thick the fix+ hips dilute it a bit. then I will spray with fix+ when I'm done with my makeup and I don't think it looks cakey at all. Honestly if you know how to apply it, its great and super full coverage and you will not have to touch it up throughout the day. Another great drugstore foundation is the Loreal infallible foundation its a demi matte and medium coverage that you can build up but if you have oily skin you will definitely have to carry some powder with this one.

I have the rimmel stay matte foundation and I absolutely hate it...yes its really matte...honestly I'd go with the loreal 24hr matte foundation or the Maybelline matte and poreless...they've both gotten great reviews...I can't tell you much about the Maybelline one but I have the loreal one and after using it the first time with my beauty blender I'm like hell no this stuff is horrible then I let it sit for awhile and then tried again with the real techniques expert face brush and again I didn't like it...then 2 weeks ago I was at a flea market and picked up a no name kabuki brush and finally after playing around with the application for 2 months I'm happy with it...BTW its a demi matte whereas the rimmel is completely matte and very thick.

Rimmel stay matte clinged to my dry patches and sunk into my pores, and my pores aren't really even that big, it was cakey and just gross. I love the powder though! Haven't tried anything else. Let me know how you like the Wnw foundation!

Thanks Raylene! I actually remember you when I saw the bb cream haha but they didn't have my shade, I'll have to get it :)

Llesenia, yeah, the shade selection sucksssss! They all looked really orange haha

I really like the Wet n Wild foundation! It has really good coverage. Definitely a medium to full depending on your skin. The only thing that sucks is the color selection!

Renay I have it, but it's super thick and didn't work with my primer. But to thin it out I used a pump of my aveeno face lotion and it thinned it out and made it easier to apply but I as soon as my shade in the bb cream was back in stock I ditched it lol.

Ughhhh :( haha I ended up getting the Rimmel stay matte because it was the only one that had any if he lighter shade. Literally every other was out, walmart was emptied out. Damn it lol! Oh well, only need it for one day. Thanks girls.

I love the rimmel stay matte. but like others have said, if you use much it is cakey. I apply a pea size dot to the back of my hand and use a fluffy brush to apply it. it ends up beautiful. I also let it sit for about 5 to 10 minutes before I apply powder. I have it on now.

I agree with the others. I really wanted to like it, because coverage-wise it's fantastic. But it's sooo cakey. I've tried several primers with it, different methods of application, different amounts... it's just bad every time. Bummer, because it matches my skin tone perfectly.

The foundation was oily

Elf foundation not my favorite rather spend a little extra money to get the Alamy cc cream
