What can I use or do to make dark circles less visible or get rid of them?
Apr 1, 2015
Les N.
If they are blue use a salmon toned corrector.
if they are purple use a yellow toned corrector.
then apply your skintone concealer on top.

I agree with Les.
If you want to get rid of/lighten them without using makeup then make sure you drink plenty of water, get enough sleep, and sleep slightly propped up. Also use an eye cream with vitamin C. If your dark circles are genetic then there's really nothing you can do about them besides covering them with makeup.

If they're genetic you can correct them like Les said. I like Benefit Erase Paste, it makes my dark circles vanish! (it's a peachy corrector and my dark circles are blueish)
In other cases, they could be due to lack of sleep, dehydration, allergies, hyperpigmentation and they may be treated at the root.

What eye cream would you suggest to use? Alexis?

No they not genetic

I just started using the Tarte Maracuja C Brightener Eye Treatment and so far I've been liking it. I don't have super dark circles so I can't comment much on how well it affects dark circles but since it does contain vitamin C it's definitely worth a try (:

You can always cover them as suggested, but you should try to determine the reason you're getting dark circles...do you get enough sleep? Fatigue and lack of rest definitely contribute! So do alcohol, smoking, etc.
