Is it just as goof as other highlighters, or is it worth the purchase? What sets it apart from others exactly?

i think that skin shades are a factor in how good it will be for different people. That is the only highlighter i`ve tried so i couldn`t compare it to anything else for you, good luck,

It was the first one that i tried, and it is alright, but loreal magic lumi highlighter is a good one to try out as well. I suggest trying that one and seeing if you like the lumi before trying high beam. :) you can find that at any drugstore or walmart/target too!
