Has anyone tried them or know more about them? They sound interesting but I'm not sure how damaging they are for your real lashes. And do they just fall out eventually or..? If anyone has tried them; what was the process like? Where they expensive? And how do you like them? Thanks! :)

In Australia they are pretty expensive! I've had them twice and I paid $80 for each (they are more then that but I had a friends-with-benifits-thing going on with the girl so she gave them cheaper). Personally it's really subjective whether it will ruin your lashes or not! I heard it depends on your lash cycle! For me it did not ruin mine at all neither did it my best friend! But I have two other friends who kept tugging and pulling o. Theirs and ended up pulling out heaps of their own lashes! (Yuk). The process is pretty easy you just sit there and look down and the beautician applys them pretty quickly.
I'm my opinion they are definitely worth getting they are so pretty! Just remember not to put any mascara on with them at all even when they are falling out! And don't sleep with a sleepin mask or on your face at all!

I actually do eyelash extensions :)
I'll answer it question by question for you
are they damaging? just like anything foreign to your body they can be damaging, if not done properly. They won't damage your eyelashes unless you rip them out or don't treat them properly.
do they eventually fall out? yes, they fall out as your lashes grow. If you don't keep up with them you will need to have them removed.
What is the process like? When you first come in they will ask you how full, long, and what you are expecting to see when your done. then you will lay back nice and relaxed and you will have your lashes prepped in which they use either a tape or eye patches to hold down your bottom lashed to keep them from sticking to your top lashes. Then on with the application, it can be a long process depending on how quickly the tech works. It takes a lot of time because they are attaching hairs one to one.
Were they expensive? It really depends where you live I have seen them range any where from $40-$300 so it depends where you go. I love them they make it so much easier to get dressed, if you don't have time to do your makeup your lashes already look great. No need for mascara and they look amazing and you don't even feel them.
I hope I helped

There are certain mascaras to use you don't want to use mascara because it'll help preserve the lashes and they will last longer.

Also is it true that you can't use products with oil in them around your eyes?

You shouldn't the oils will break down the bond in the glue I still use my Burt's bee repair serum under my eyes when I have my extensions in I'm just careful to only put it under my eyes and not close to the lashes I am addicted to the serum so I can't go without it
