When it comes to brush cleaning?
I just washed my brushes after a couple of weeks (ew, right?) lol. I haven't used them in that two weeks and before then I hadn't washed them for about another 2 weeks. The product in even the tiniest brushes were INSANE! Kind of grossed me out, to be honest. I don't even want to go a day without washing them now when I use them lol.
So how often is too often? Would every other day be too often? Or every two days? My brushes aren't the most expensive by any means. I only have 3 "higher end brands", and at that they're not even that high end lol, just good quality in my opinion (Urban Decay, Divergent cosmetics, Sonia Kashuk). I mainly have brushes from eco tools and bhcosmetics, so not luxurious to say at the least lol.
I'm just afraid if I wash them every time I wear makeup (which is literally like 2 or 3 times a week, and not even every week, so hot often), they'll just fall apart. Lol. So how often is too often? Or do you have tips for quick cleansing after each use? (Which still grosses me out, because it's just cleaning the surface and not the brush as a whole which is where the product gets trapped haha, but whatever).

I have a few eco tools and elf brushes, that's it. I wash them every two weeks with baby shampoo and water.

But I don't use them everyday, I use my brushes about 2 or 3 times a week.

I heard your supposed to wash them once a week, but so much product gets in your brushes during that week so you could probably wash them several times a week.

Thanks Shanae lol, I only use them about 2 3 times a week, too.
Katelyn, I know. Soooo much product stays trapped in there, it's really gross haha. Thanks for the input :)

I read once a week as well. I just bought my first two brushes but being home everyday hasn't given me a reason to give them a try. 😩 how do you wash yours anyway? Specific cleaners for brushes or a soap/water combo...?

I use an all natural dish soap. It doesn't have any color or chemicals in it. I also wash mine about once a week.
