Does cream contouring make your face look cakey? Currently I have the Anastasia powder contouring kit but it doesn't give me the look I want with it. I was wondering maybe cream contour would make my face look more skinny?

Contouring regardless of product type used can alter your appearance... if done correctly using the appropriate colors and undertone.
I personally prefer cream over powder... with dry skin it looks a lot better and if you're good with blending and application it looks so natural and beautiful.

I think to achieve the look you're going for a cream would be better than powder.

To make your cheek bones pop you don't necessarily have to spend money on contour products... for that a bit of blush, bronzer or highlight can do. Have you tried that at all?

I noticed that using a beauty blender to blend cream contour makes it not look cakey! It is the best for blending in for that more natural contour

I agree with kate. I use my Lauren Mercier cream contour kit and use a beauty blender to blend it out and the texture looks very smooth. Much better than powder contour in my opinion.
