Using a matte bronzer like Hoola from Benefit to contour your face might help. It works for me if you use an angles brush and apply it under your cheekbones.

Why slim? Your round face is soft and beautiful. I have an angular square face and jaw and love to contour to slim it down. That will not work well for you because your overall look is soft/romantic.

Contour contour contour! Don't forget that bronzes alone is not always a successful contour, upside down triangle of a foundation 2 shades lighter, or a concealer really helps deepen the contrast. MUFE concealer is incredible, a triangle under each eye, with a flat well blended bronzes in the cheek hollows and up toward temples will "un-round" your face in no time.

Use blush on the sides of your face as opposed to the apples of your cheeks.

I have a very circular face so I contour everyday, it really helps. Any hair, just avoid full bangs :)
