So, I'll be going to get my makeup done on Saturday at MAC, or at least I'm planning to. Anyways, what's the lightest feeling foundation they have? I've heard MAC face products are quite heavy and I ain't about that life lol. I want them to use something with at least a little bit more of a natural finish. ALSO, I have oily skin btw. I'll just have them use concealer on any blemishes.

Thank you Gen :) I just figured I'd get some names of the foundations so I know what to ask for rather than the artist try something on me and me not like the feeling after the fact. However, you're right, application is important. Thank you again :)

Definitely don't get studio fix fluid then haha
face and body is great but I don't think it would work great with oily skin.
The original pro longwear isn't thick, I use to wear that one (:

I love Mac face and body, I have oily skin with some dry patches. as long as I powder, I'm good to go. I use Mac face and body in c3 with Mac blot powder in medium. You should post a motd when you get it done! :)

Thanks Les :)
Sandra, cool! I will look into that one too.
Sonya, awesome! That's good to hear, I'll probably go with that one :) I'm pretty sure we're the same skin tone since I saw you wear NC30 in Mac and so do I lol (in the studio fix powder anyways), so I'll have them try those shades in me :) I definitely will!

My daughter recently bought me the new Pro Longwear Nourishing Waterproof Foundation and I must say that MAC really did a great job with this one. I do not feel it on my skin and after several days of back to back wear...no cystic acne. The one claim I was skeptical about...that it also doubles as a concealer. It is TRUTH because lately I haven't been getting enough sleep and its been showing under my eyes. The first day of use that stuff covered my dark circles with zero creasing or fading after 10 hours of wear. I only set the area with a light touch of Hourglass Ambient powder in dim light and I was good to go.Diffused my sinful areas (enlarged pores) and just overall gave me "my skin but better" look. Definitely check it out while you are there.

Sold Shelley! Thanks for the in depth review! I think I'll have them try that out on me, for sure. It sounds amazing. I notice my under eyes crease a lot which is weird because I don't notice fine lines without makeup, it's like I don't have any until I put makeup on my face. It's annoying! Does MAC have a good setting powder? Especially for photography.

Face and Body is your best option, or the moisture cover.

MAC setting powder...tough call for me. They have all given me grief in the past but I did pick up their Mineral Skinfinish Natural powder to test out with the new foundation but I only used it once thus far. Didn't experience any skin grief after that first use so we'll see but it does give a nice luminous effect. I forgot to mention that the foundation gives a nice satin finish.

Thanks Ty. Cool, Shelley :) I'll check that out as well.. I don't like matte finishes, satin is right up my alley.

The lightest shade in mac is nw10. For the prolongwear nourishinng foundation I don't recall the lightest shade. It was launched limited edition such it's in such high demand they are been replenishing stock. I know I there is nc 15 for sure but don't remember in nw's.
