I use MUFE mat velvet and it last even in the heat for me. But I also use a primer, translucent setting powder and setting spray.

I have always preferred liquids but I recently tried the IT Cosmetics Celebration Illuminating Foundation and I love it! It's such good coverage and it literally takes me 30 seconds to apply. So if some days you're not feeling the effort but still want the full look, it's amazing!

Here's the thing. Liquid foundation melts off pretty quick in the heat but the powder can come off easily as well in the heat. I would recommend the powder just because its harder to come off. But normally I choose to wear concealer or BB cream in which case doesn't melt as quick or as much. You can buy a pretty cheap BB cream at target for about $6 from Elf. Elf also has a good concealer for about $3. Sorry for it being so long I just want to give you extra information. The best of luck with the heat!

I'm opting for my bourjois cc cream these days, offers light to medium coverage but extremely light weight on the skin, oil control isnt bad with it, also urban decay naked skin is a great choice in the warmer weather, I would suggest that or a cc cream. I'm not a fan of powder foundation on its own, I like to layer it over my liquid foundation.

I have very oily skin and somewhat acne prone/sensitive skin. (Just found that out recently. )

I don't like using Mac foundations for the simple fact that many of the girls that I know who went out and bought Mac foundations broke out. With that being said let me tell you my foundation routine.

Even though I have oily skin I still moisturize. I use Olay complete moisturizer. (I don't usually get a oil free moisturizer because my skin care routine,I feel like, dries out my skin) after applying moisturizer I apply Hourglass Veil primer which is OMG perfect for oily skin. I use either mufe mat velvet or maybelline pro matte foundation. Those two foundation are super similar and I Ben mix them sometimes. The mufe dries super soft and matte, like velvet (hence the name). The maybelline pro mat I feel like it dries too matte. But still perfect for oily skin. I set the makeup with a colorless powder from Ben nye and spray skindinavia no more shine spray and I'm ready to go out the door.

People need to see hat going on with tier skin prior to makeup an then take care of the issues they may have. Whether it's oily skin or hyper pigmentation. There are steps that some ignore or don't think are important
