Is back combin you hair bad for you. I've started to do it 5days a week please tell me my hair will be ok.

That sounds very excessive to me, especially if you're not taking proper care of your hair to begin with.

^^^
I would try to reduce it, & try new hairstyles that won't require any back combing

I think back combing is extremely unnecessary. It's almost like asking for damaged hair.

& your hair can break easier

Yeah it's bad for your hair, save it for special occasions, try using volumizing products instead, like mousse or dry shampoo.

It's definitely not the best choice for your hair but I'm guilty of it too :( try blow drying your hair upside down when it's damp as well as trying different root lift and volumizing sprays to minimize the amount of teasing you'll need! Fat hair 0 calories is an awesome like for big voluminous hair

You really shouldn't be doing I at all. It's really bad for your hair by our pretty much purposefully damaging it with your own hands. I agree with the other girls try some volumizing products instead.

Your* instead of by our.

Its not the best but I did it for years like 3-4 when I wore extensions and my hair was fine. But the thing was that I didnt wash everyday only every 3-4 days which was helpful. brittany's suggestions are great.

Volumizing powder works better than backcombing for me. Big sexy hair and not your mothers both make good ones.

You can healthily tease your hair try getting a teasing comb... when using a teasing comb or a paddle brush you can just push the hair down instead of ratting it up.. try putting a little texturizing putty then take the paddle brush or teasing comb and just push the hair down instead of the usual back and forth motion
