Hey, I think it would be soooo cool to make my own eyeshadow palette! I feel like it would be really convenient because it would just be full of colors I chose specifically rather than having maybe 2-3 shades that aren't that good! I was just wondering where would you recommend buying the individual pans? I don't know which brands are going to be pigmented. I also have to make sure it's somewhat budget friendly. I don't have $200 to just throw away on a palette.!

I second Sabrina's suggestion! Makeup Geek shadows are excellent! And they're $6 a pop, so not too shabby! (Although they're $10 each for the foiled metallic ones.) You can buy a Z-Palette (an empty palette) from Makeup Geek's website (or Sephora or whatever) to put the shadows in. :)

Makeup geek is great and you should check your options. Coastal scents and bh cosmetics also let you make your own or you could go for higher end and get palettes from MAC and get pans separately at any time. I also like the inglot freedom system. Or like Jamie said you could get a z palette and just fill it in with eyeshadows from different brands and just depot then and put them in the palette

I'd definitely suggest makeup geek like mentioned above me. For the price, I don't think any other shadows compare. I have a few Z palettes and one is just mug (the others aren't fully filled yet ) and I honestly prefer them over some of my MAC shadows in my other Z palette. I purchased my Z palette from a salon & spa expo in Chicago but I know they sell them here on Beautylish and their shipping and customer service is without a doubt the best I've experienced!
