Is there anyway that I could dye my hair a light purple/grey color without damaging it as much?

You would have to bleach it a great amount since you have dark hair. There are ways to fix damage, such as hair masks, both moisturizing ones and protein ones, trimming split ends, no heat, etc.

No..not really you would have to bleach your hair and if you have dark black hair and want to do it a "safe" or less damaging way you would have to bleach your hair 2-3 times with a waiting time of a week in between.

Your hair looks beautiful the way it is. Grey would look gorgeous too though. It's definitely do-able but there will be damage for sure.

You would have to bleach it but your hair is really pretty right now I can't imagine why you'd want to do anything to it! I wouldn't take the risk but it's your hair so do what you feel comfortable with.
