I've had this hairstyle for a while and now I'm thinking of growing it out

Please please suggest haircuts/styles or tips that can make the awkward growing out stages easier!! (pictures appreciated) I'm hoping that it'll be better before I start college in September

The only thing I can think of it to cut the longer side to how the shorter side is styled

It's so beautiful as it is! I know you may think it looks odd, but it's gorgeous! Side ponytails do help, I've heard, or side braids!! Dh.

I think the only other thing to would be to part it about half an inch closer to the middle of your head, letting the long bits cover the short ones as they grow. Other than that, you'd have to cut it shorter. But I would wait till the shortest parts are a bit longer (maybe in August?) and go to your salon and ask what they think. They'll be able to take in account how your hair acts and how certain cuts fit your face and your lifestyle. It's hard to judge just from a few photos what will look good on someone, and we have no tell on how it acts (like if you have a cowlick, or if it's a style that can only be styled a certain way to look nice) or how busy you are and how much time you have to really do the style everyday. These are all things your hairstylist will ask, figure out and take into account when suggesting looks.

Personally, and I know it sounds counter productive, I would just cute it short and start over. It just seems like such a hassle to try and hide asymmetrical hair that's growing out. If you don't want to do that I'd suggest expire mentions with different styles that give the illusion that all your hair is pulled to one side, such a a low side bun, side pony, or side braid. All are super cute and can hopefully make that growing stage a bit less awkward :)

Thank you so much, everyone! I think I'll just end up cutting the longer side slightly shorter so that I can just grow it out evenly. Thanks for all the suggestions c:
