Hey guys. I'm going to be a freshman (in HS) and I was wondering what makeup would be appropriate. I don't want to wear face makeup, so what could I do with my eyes and lips that would look good without overdoing it? Thanks girls!

Anything is appropriate. there is freshman who do full glam and some who wear close to nothing. I would just do winged liner and mascara since you don't want to wear much.

Personally, it is all about what you prefer. I think the perfect balance is light concealer, mascara, brows if you need it, a little highlight (white eye shadow that isn't matte works wonders!) and light eyeliner for eye definition:) I like orangey lip colors for school because it makes me look awake when in reality I am dead like a zombie:) other than that, wear what makes you comfortable and makes you feel at your best:) and coming from someone who is also going to be a freshman, I totally understand pondering what would be appropriate:)

Concealer is a must for me, a lot of mascara, definitely fill in my brows, and you could use whatever you feel comfortable with because everyone's different. on the first & last day I tend to wear more makeup or days before big breaks or holidays. and don't overdo yourself I know 6th graders in my old school who wear makeup that a grownup wouldn't wear so be careful(:

When I was a freshman, at the beginning of the year I wore mascara, light eyeshadow, sometimes eyeliner, and lipgloss/ lipstick. It slowly faded to just mascara and lips, and by the end I only curled my eyelashes (I was so lazy lol). So basically what I'm saying is whatever you're comfortable with, it will probably be a wide range for different people :)

I've always gone full glam! You don't need to limit the amount of makeup you wear due to your grade! To school I always wear foundation,liner,mascara,brows,setting power,primer the whole 9 yards! Do whatever you want! Don't care what other girls think. I never did and got complemented on my makeup and asked "how do you do that?!" All the time. Ovcourse you willl you get occasional "wwhy do you wear so much makeup?" And I always said its because I love it and I enjoy the whole process and that if its not effecting them they shouldnt care:) you do the same!
