I am beyond shocked that I haven't seen anything else on this topic yet! But I was wondering how to maintain my hair (and skin) with going swimming everyday. I don't know what people in the summer would do without pools, I go swimming literally everyday, and am out by the pool everyday(I don't stay IN the pool for hours at a time, but I'm constantly jumping in then getting out and sitting in the sun or shade). It's only been a few days that we have been able to swim, and I've been putting conditioner in my hair before and after I go swimming. Are there any other tips that can reserve my hair from overly drying out from the chemicals of the pool? And I recently lightened my hair, probably to about a level 4ish, how do I prevent the green tint? And just any other over all summer tips for keeping up with my care for my body, skin care, hair care, ect! Thank you so much! And I hope you have fun this summer!

You should also soak your hair in water before going in the pool to keep the chlorine water from soaking in your hair.

Putting coconut oil or conditioner on your hair before you swim! That way it won't dry out or turn crazy colors

My hair used to get that green tint all the time. Wetting your hair with a hose or in a shower (anything that isn't pool water) before you get in will prevent your hair from absorbing the chemicals in the pool water that cause discoloration.
