It gave me split ends and I feel like my hair used to be way more manageable before that.

Keratin treatments like any chemical can be damaging if not done right... I have a lot of clients who swear by them but keep in mind I am a professional and know what I'm doing I don't recommend doing it yourself or going to someone who isn't familiar with them... all of my clients who I do them on love it and find there hair is more manageable and frizz free... if you don't take care of the hair the way your suppose to it'll have bad side affects... like using proper shampoo and conditioner and proper hair care products... I think keratin treatments are amazing and almost everyone I have done them on there hair feels much healthier than it did before the keratin and none of my clients have ever experienced hair loss or damage from the treatment.. the worst side affect some clients notice is that with some treatments there hair will feel greasier but that is really rare... I usually hear nothing but good things

I mean yes, it is all good while the treatment lasts. But after it wears off that's how I felt. My hair had split ends and I feel that my natural hair, with no treatment on it, it was more manageable than my hair after the treatment wore off.

Kattya after the treatment wore off what products did you use on your hair?

I agree with Charlese. Plus one has to take in account the hair's condition prior to the procedure.

My wasn't even processed and I only used a blowdryer everyother day, with heat protection. Back then I used the all soft line from Redken I believe and while on the treatment I used whatever shampoo and conditioner they recommended me.

That good be the problem a lot of people had problems with the all soft line after a couple uses.

I work at the hair dressers and they sell all sorts of keratin treatment, depends which one you want! But on my hair they've really helped me! But everyone's hair is different depending on how well you look after it.
