Make sure before you apply any face makeup, you apply a moisturizer. Also, you might need to consider applying a lighter base, such as a primer, or a tinted moisturizer with sunscreen. That way you don't have two layers of makeup on your face. Also, if you have any blending brushes, make sure you blend in circular motions; buffing. Which will blend your makeup into your skin and create an airbrushed look.

Maybe try a primer?

It sounds like you might be over exfoliating. If you exfoliate too much, then it can dry your skin out and make it peel. Also if you have sensitive skin the face washes/exfoliaters could potentially be too harsh for your skin. As for primer, I've found Hard Candys Illuminating Primer and Rimmels Pro Primer work wonders! I have dryer skin myself, that's also quite sensitive. These have worked great, but I've never liked Neutrogena makeup products, they've always dried the crap out of my face, so that could be the culprit as well! Make sure to give your face time to breathe and relax. No exfoliating, no makeup, just maybe a steam treatment or a gentle moisturizing face mask :)

Maybe you need to get a new foundation? as your skin type changes, you need to change your foundation.

primers are also very helpful. make sure the main ingredient is the same in both your foundation and primer.

moisturizer will help your dry skin. buy a nice lightweight one (:

also make sure you have a good skin care routine. this will improve the appearance and texture of your skin.

I have actually found in the past that when I mix or put BB cream with some (not all) other products, it makes my skin look yucky and somewhat cakey, so yeah I just started using a different foundation
