Use lemon juice to lighten them every day for a month also use mineral powder foundation to cover them if you want to.

Do NOT use lemon juice on your face, it's not pH balanced for your face and can cause burns.

Millie, welcome to Beautylish but that comment isn't allowed. Making a new thread and choosing the intros and promotions category is the correct way to promote yourself.
Definitely NEVER USE LEMON ON YOUR FACE.

I love freckles! But if you want to cover them, I suggest Dermablend. Super full coverage. The one in the pot takes some time getting used to applying.
And stay away from lemons. It'll burn your face like Hannah said

I love freckles! there's a lot of ways to make them stand out or cover them up. "A face without freckles is like a sky without stars". I wish I had freckles! Just rock them, sweetie. If you want to prevent more, just wear sunscreen on your face every day

Lemon juice is actually VERY good for your skin haha! I use lemon juice for my freckles. And my skin is fine and I've been doing it for months.

Lemon juice is HORRIBLE for your skin.
Lemon doesn't do anything good for the skin. keeping our skin pH balanced is important our skins natural level is 4.5-5.5 and that is where we NEED to keep it. Lemon has a pH level of 2 which is WAY too acidic for our face & skin and can disrupt our acid mantle which is on the surface of our skin that acts as a barrier to bacteria.
plus I now have discoloration on my hands because of using lemons which has been there for about 7-8 months and now I have to wait for it to fade away. if I have discoloration on my hands imagine what it would do to my face?

Hmm?? yeah 'ok'
believe what you want, I'm not the one ruining my skin.
you will tell how bad your skin looks in less than a year since you can't tell now.
well, unless you look into a microscope.
but it definitely isn't making your skin "better". that's false. Lemon is absolutely horrible for your skin and tons of people (including dermatologist) know that ☺️

Do NOT use lemon on your face. It's so dangerous. And it really really is so bad. If you put a microscope to your skin, you'd see SO much damage.
There are serious dangers to putting lemon on your face. Putting citrus on your face can cause a phototoxic reaction called phytophotodermatitis, an inflammatory reaction that results in bruise-like hyperpigmentation, with the potential for nasty-looking blisters and burning. It's often mistaken for chemical burns. it is dangerous, painful and really not worth it. Read about it here where less than 3 minutes can trigger a huge reaction on rats. Even sunblock didn't prevent it. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/16313243/

Lemons definitely don't do anything but harm to your skin.

No need to all gang up. I was just saying my opinion like the rest of you were. I wasn't attacking anyone haha! I've just been told by people that it's actually good for skin. And I use it all the time and my skin isn't damaged at all. That's all. Relax girls.

First of all, freckles are cute, but you can try and cover them with full coverage concealers. Don't put full coverage foundation if you don't need it. It looks better if you even out your skin tone and then apply full coverage concealer on the places you wish to cover a bit more. Remember, full coverage foundations tends to crease. Full coverage concealers : Mac Pro long wear concealer , covergirl concealer :)

And lemons dry out your skin, so not trying that, please. Just like its bad for your hair (the sunlight and lemon take out all the moisture from your hair)

Stating your opinion is different than stating facts. Nobody is trying to gang up on anyone, they are trying to inform others of thr danger of seriously damaging their skin. That is a topic that calls for factual information not opinion.

I dab some lemon juice on face to get rid of the it only fades them tho.

Taylah - nobody is ganging up on you. We're stating facts. You've been told it's good, and we're correcting you and telling you that they were wrong and that it's actually really bad for you. If you go to a dermatologist, he or she will look at your skin and go "what did you do to it?" because it's damaged. Just because you can't see it doesn't mean it's not damaged. Citrus is horrible for your face, especially straight lemon juice. It's doing so much more harm than good, and we're trying to help you so in 50 years your skin isn't super dry, hyperpigmented, scarred from the possible reactions that cause almost chemical type burns that you're now risking every time you go outside (even if washed and soaped off, in the study I linked the rats still got the reactions even after a week of bathing then) and it'll be super sensitive and damaged.
Instead of telling us to relax, why not actually read through all the threads on this and everything we've said, the study I linked etc. You'll see none of this is opinion. It's fact. It's science. It's not something that was just told to us and we're passing it to you, like the people who told you it was good did.
We're giving you scientific research and facts. Whether you listen to us is up to you, but it's your skin, do you really want to risk it?
