First, let me start off by saying I'm 30 yrs old and I've worn pretty much the same makeup for the past 12+ years! lol I haven't been very adventurous and I'd like to change it up a bit.

I've always worn CG Simply Powder foundation but I recently tried Garnier's BB cream which I love! I've always been a one shade of eyeshadow kind of girl (either brown, purple, or light shimmery colors), black eye shadow on the bottom lash line (every time I've tried to apply it to my top lash line, I think it makes my eyes look smaller no matter how thin the line. I must be doing something wrong!) black mascara, and either Chapstick or a light lip color (although recently I tried a darker color with less eye make up).

I guess I'm wondering if you could look at my pics and tell me what you think would look good on me and what I would need. I have very few brushes so I probably need to get some. I'm open to all suggestions but I really don't want to spend much. I've always bought my make up from Walmart because I'm a tight wad! lol

Thank you so much if you read all of that! 😄

Ur lucky u can pull wearing minimal makeup. U look good with natural makeup. I think I would draw ur brows thicker so they look more natural. Also maybe try doing a winged eyeliner with little or no eyeliner on the bottom then put tons of mascara. Because to me ur eyes looked gorgeous when u didn't wear eyeliner on the bottom.

One thing I noticed from your pics is your eyebrows. I think filling them in would make a nice difference. I use a brow pencil by wet&wild but there are plenty of options to choose from. Some people prefer to fill in with powder, so you could use an eyeshadow. Just make sure to go slightly *lighter* than your hair color, like one shade lighter.

Wet&wild eyeshadow palettes make it sooo easy to do your eyes a bit more. They come with 3 or 2 sets of 4 shadows and it tells you what to use on the lid, brow bone, and crease, sometimes corner. Keep in mind you can use a crease color in the outer corner and browbone shade as an inner corner brightener.

Eyeliner will give you more flexibility in looks than just using black shadow.

I think every girl should use blush on even the most basic of days because it adds dimension to your face.

I'm not sure how much you want to get into, or how elaborate you want to get.. You're very pretty so you have a lot of flexibility. I think you'll be pleased with the results once you start to do more. I know I used to be more basic in what I did with my makeup and now even on a day when I don't do much, I regret not doing small things like accentuating my crease before. Those little things really do make a difference! If I were you I'd take a look around YouTube, too. There are so many tutorials out there and most girls have "natural" looks they show, if that's more what you want. You can find anything, from quick and easy to dramatic. As for who to watch, that's harder bc it depends whose personality you like. I don't like many popular YouTube girls.

Good luck!!

First off, CONGRATULATIONS on getting super fit! I am so proud! That is phenomenal! I would say, let your inner/outer beauty shine! An brow kit to accentuate your natural face frame of your eyebrows-they could maybe be a little more even in thickness?. I think a nice contour/bronzer would make your cheekbones pop a little with a nice flush of color on the apples of your cheeks. Really a great mascara like she said will do wonders. :D Sorry if that mightve came out rude; that was NOT my intent. <3

You should try regrowing your brows, but for now fill them in more. Also, deep pinks would look nice, with slightly overdrawn lips. Also, maybe some fake lashes would be really nice, maybe some really wispy ones, or just the outter corner kind.

Unfortunately, they don't grow at all. I rarely even have to pluck strays anymore. I'm going to look into products to fill them in more. Thanks for the advice! 😊
