I love mine! I would just make sure you really want one before you get it, and do your research on a clean, safe place to get yours pierced :)

I have my belly button pierced and I love it! I went to the same shop my mom had gotten her tattoos at to get all of my piercings so I was lucky to not have to do research but I agree with Emme to make sure the place you go to is clean! You're putting a lot of trust into someone you don't know to stick a needle into your body so you want the place to be clean and safe and you should trust the piercer. If something is off about them or you don't feel comfortable then go somewhere else.

I would wait until the end of the summer though, because you can't swim (pools, hot tubs, oceans) while it's healing, that way it can heal all through the fall winter and spring.

I would be careful.
Hear they can get easily and horribly infected!
But they do look pretty cool I guess

Oh yes I would wait until the end of summer. Technically, you're supposed to wait 6 weeks to swim, but I would wait longer, to be safe. Mine got infected once, but I waited two whole months until I swam. A friend of mine only waited one month, and she had so many problems with hers.
