Blue Everything Criticism

So I realized I've had this blue lipstick for forever and felt the need to do a look with it! I'm not really sure what I was going for...kind of an ethereal sort of look maybe? Do you guys like it? Is there anything you guys would have done differently? I would love some constructive criticism, as I've been experimenting outside my comfort zone recently. Also - do you think blue lips is wearable for everyday? I think I would wear it out in public...but then again I'd probably end up putting it on and then taking it off at the last minute because I'd change my mind. What are your opinions? What kind of looks would you do with a blue lipstick?

P.S. Sorry about the red-eyes! It was refusing to let me edit it out...it's bothering me so much!

I love this look! It looks beautiful because it contrasts with your red hair and they make each other pop.
I think you pull this off. I would probably never have the guts to wear a blue like that out myself.

Ugh I'm a sucker for monochromatic looks! I absolutely love it:) honestly blue is not a typical look to Wear out and I personally couldn't but every time I see someone with a funky lip or eye colour going on all I can think is "you go girl" because it takes a lot of confidence and I have nothing but admiration for girls like that :)

I really like it but personally I'd pick a more true dark blue lipstick.

While the lipstick you've got on at the moment is nice I feel like as it's a slightly turquoise green-blue it jars slightly with the eyes.

It looks really good overall though! The blending on the eyes is impeccable!

Thank you everyone!
@Rebecca I definitely see what you mean, but unfortunately I don't have a darker blue lipstick (or light blue eyeshadows for some reason) so I guess I know what needs to go on my to-buy list! And thank you so much about my blending, I worked really hard on it! It goes against my nature to not put a warm blending color in the upper crease but I really wanted to keep this look cool so I gave it a shot. I'm glad you think it turned out well! :)

I wore a look like this for a theme day at Mac but mine was all in greens. I definitely understand what you're feeling of not wanting to wear it out because there are people that look at you like wth lol but if you're comfortable in it rock it. The overall look is pretty, I like the colors you chose and I need that lipstick :)

@Tiffany - Thank you! And the lipstick is to die for I definitely recommend getting it. What lipstick did you use for your green look?

I actually wanted to keep it neutral so I grabbed my viva glam lipstick and used a fluffy brush to apply a loose pigment on top

I love the lip omg! I always think about that! Like I truly wish it became acceptable to wear any color on our lips, or hair and for any job. It doesn't hurt anybody I honestly don't see why companies are so restrictive you.you.

@Tiffany, ahh ok that makes sense. :)
@Kattya, me too! It's so stupid that companies and people actually care more about lip color than about skill. It's so stupid :(
