Can you moisturize your body before spray tan?

So I bought this spray tan foam, but I put moisturizer all over my body Cuz I have dry skin mostly on my legs. I'm now reading that you're not suppose too? Will that affect my tan? In about an hour it will be 6hrs so I will wash it off in the shower like just rinse the spray tan.

You really shouldn't, because your body will absorb the moisturizer and basically there won't be much space for the spray tan. That's why you shock moisturized hands feet elbows and knees so they down go orange :) also, it will appear patchy unless your moisturizer is 100% even.
