Lol I'm having such a struggle right now!!

I always find that foundations never fully cover on certain areas of my face?? Like its so weird. Especially around my nose. I have light freckles, but I know my foundation is full coverage, so it should cover those.

It's really weird. It doesn't cover from the get-go but it separates worse on my face the longer I wear it.

It's not my foundation, I've tried tons: from light to medium coverage to full including Colorstay, 3in1 Covergirl, Double Wear and am currently using Loreal Infalliable Pro Matte.

It's not lack of primer either, I use it, and different kinds?

This is such a long winded question, but really I hate it! Why won't my face stay fully covered?!

It might be your foundation or primer or skin.

Is your skin dry? Oily? Combo?

What type of primers are you using?

Are your primers compatible with the foundations you're using?

Is it blotchy? Do you see dry patches?

This happens to only my nose area, I've only tried a very limited amount of foundations that don't do this, the only foundation that comes to mind to me for this particular problem is the Rimmel 25 hour stay liquid foundation however I dislike they don't have a wider colour range because I do enjoy that foundation for both coverage and texture. The only other thing I've found helps is using a micro exfoliator on your face prior to foundation application and moisturise and priming. Or looking into different foundations, I find thinner textured foundations tend to have this problem for me apposed to thicker foundations but like I said, I only have this problem on my nose. Haha :)

Diego, I have dry skin, but I exfoliate and moisturizer. And I have tried a variety of primers, including Smashbox Photo Finish, Bare Minerals PrimeTime, and a few others. And no, it is not necessarily blotchy and I am not seeing dry patches.

Hi Chelsea, if you have dry skin already why do you wear Matte foundations?

Maybe a hydrating or nourishing primer will help with this problem.

You want something that will help your skin with the dryness because I think I that's the problem. You're not using the correct products but I'll try to have ms Jackie come to this post...
