Does taking Biotin pills really help your hair grow? If so, do you girls have any biotin suggestions?

Nooooo! If you do not have a deficiency, then you should not take these pills. There is no miracle product to make your hair grow. It's your genetics that determine your hair growth rate. The only thing you can do is keep your hair as healthy as possible to keep your hair strong and soft while your hair grows. Some things you can do is rinse your hair with cold water (this also helps keep color in if you have dyed hair), try using sulfate free shampoos, and some oils/treatments that have helped me are Aussie 3min Miracle (using as an overnight hair mask), Garnier Marvelous Oil, and Herbal Essence Intensely Conditioning Oil Elixer :)

I take Hairfinity. it has all the essential vitamins your hair needs to grow strong n healthy. I've used biotin before, doesn't do a whole lot. Hairfinity is the only product I like... it doesn't have side effects cause they're just vitamins.

Taking biotin (hairfinity) or any pills without taking a blood test to see if your deficient is incredibly dangerous. If you're on even a semi healthy diet you're most likely getting enough biotin from your food. As someone who has overdosed on biotin when I was younger, please do not just go out and take pills. Just because they're sold in stores does not mean you should take them without consulting a doctor. Taking any vitamins, especially biotin can lead to very bad side effects that defeat the point of taking them fit nice hair like hair loss, hair dryness, nail weakness, skin issues like permanent breakouts, dehydration etc, not to mention the lethal ones like kidney failure, liver failure, heart palpitations and more. Read these threads for even more reasons why you should NOT take biotin or any other pills just because someone on the Internet said it's okay.
