Hi ladys what's good to use on a baby sun burn its not bad but I noticed its a little red and she dosint like to be on her tummy cuz it rubs it.

Aw :( poor thing. First you need to cool it down before you apply lotions or else you trap the heat and slow the healing process. Try giving her a cool bath or applying a rag with cold milk onto her tummy for about ten minuted (she could watch tv or something while on her back) this will not only soothe, but get rid of the heat inside. Next apply aloe which is best for new burns. You can use pure aloe or an aloe lotion but I'm assuming pure aloe would be less irritating on the babies skin. To avoid peeling keep it moisturized, something like aveeno or any homemade oatmeal moisturizer would be perfect as oatmeal soothes the skin while of course the moisturizer keeps the skin from coming off

Thanks so much thisbhas bien keeping her up at night and she wasint having a good tummy time

Ugh I can imagine, their skin is so sensitive! For future reference, keep in mind how long she was exposed to the sun to avoid this happening too often, and I'm not sure if she's old enough but try looking for a good sunblock (not sunscreen, it's chemicals get absorbed into the skin and aren't good for you when they react to UV Rays)

My son gets sun burns frequently, he's outside all the time between my house and my sister's house, aloe vera works for soothing and healing faster than anything else.

I've got this stuff called aloe Vera gel. It is green and the brand is elostin. I don't know if you could find it in America because I live in Australia. It is really good it cools the skin down instantly and the redness goes away the next morning. Put it on before you go to bed and wash off in the morning.

I agree with the aloe but they make sunblock for babies and little kids I use coppertone water babies its called and it's 70+ sunblock any amount of time in the sun I'd put sunblock on just to be safe.

I agree with the aloe Vera gel and also with Jessica. Seriously just dunk her in sunblock even if she'll just be out for a short time or just in the car lol!
