Les, I've been looking into that smashbox primer and I've heard really great reviews! I just wanna know, does it help with oiliness and help keep matte?

The L'Oreal Miracle Blur really does fill in pores, wrinkles, fine lines, etc. and is worth the purchase, in my opinion. If you have oily skin and/or are desiring a matte finish, I would suggest applying a mattifying primer on top, such as the Rimmel London Stay Matte Primer

Following too, is there a way to make clogged pores less visible with makeup?

I have very oily skin and it doesn't seem to make me more oily!
I have to use this primer it works amazing!
I don't see myself using another primer, I used the Loreal miracle blur as well ($25) and the smashbox is better imo.

The makeup for ever mattifying primer is SUPER matte and if you use a givenchy powder on top you're guaranteed your makeup WILL NOT BUDGE. Don't use this combo, especially the powder if you have a bumpy or dry patched complexion

Dr. Brandt no more pores is amazing. I can use the tinted version and no other makeup and actually leave the house feeling pretty covered.

Try using pore strips the night before to get any dirt out of your pores and close them up with a toner after. The next morning use a primer that reduces the look of pores underneath your makeup. Hope I helped!

Mandy P read this: monsiaskincare.com/advice/how-can-I-minimize-my-pores and if that doesn't answer your question, there are a whole raft of other how to's to look through. Good luck.
