I'm not sure if this is the right category but I am attending a fairytale dress up party in a few weeks and have no idea what to dress up as or how to do hair and makeup! I'll more likely than not hire a costume out so take that into consideration. Any suggestions?

I think you'll look good as Pocahontas since you have a lot of her features

You could do Jasmyn or pocahontas if you wanted a princess whose features you could share.

I was thinking Pocahontas too but I don't know the costume is pretty boring hahaha!

Please don't do pocahontas or jasmine unless you're native American or of middle eastern descent. It's very offensive to dress up as someone's culture so you can have a good time.

Justine I get completely what you're saying, but dressing up as a Disney princess is fine. Dressing up as a native or as a middle eastern person is not okay. But people dressing up or cosplaying a certain character who are of a different race is not offensive. Like white people dressing up as a Japanese anime character is not offensive, but dressing up as an Asian is. As long as it's a character and not just a person from the race, it's not culturally offensive.
