You should use dove shampoo and don't forget to ALWAYS condition. After you shampoo, wash your body and then put on conditioner. Keep the conditioner on your hair for 2-3 minutes without wetting it. I recomment using a shower cap. After 2-3 minutes of letting the conditioner sink in, rinse until your hair is free of conditioner. Do not use heat on your hair. If you want to curl or straighten your hair, do it without heat.
Hope i helped

I would really recommend going to a professional for a consultation and a deep conditioner. Did you use box dye?

Try Deep Conditioning Masks..I had really damaged hair after battling trichotillomania and my hairdresser suggested I use a mask every other day.. they have some great high end ones at salons, but I just use one from garnier fructis! Just leave it on your hair for awhile and wash it out, or you could leave it in your hair after a shower if you go for the leave in conditioner route. Biotin supplements might help your hair grow back faster, this way you can always refresh your ends!! Trust me, it takes time, but there is always something you can do to save your hair. I would wait awhile before dying your hair again, and always use a heat protectant if you're going to style it! Protect it and you should be fine :)

Try a product called "Cholesteral" - you can get it from Sally Beauty Supply and its fairly inexpensive. It's a deep conditioner and does wonders for hair! Put it on damp hair and wrap it in a shower cap. Leave it on for at least a few hours - I actually leave mine in overnight!

you need to get a trim first, and I also suggest pro naturals moroccan argan oil hair treatment kit which is a complete treatment that will help you to repair and restore your hair . :D

Use moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, like organix macadamia oil, which you can get at target. Be sure to put shampoo only on your scalp, and never on your ends. Conditioner only on the ends and not on your scalp. Then, use a hair mask, like Macadamia intensive repair mask. You should leave the mask in for 7 minutes, and then rinse with COLD water, because that helps seal the moisture into your hair. Also, make sure that you get a trim every few months, so that you're getting rid of the dead ends.

Trim, and do some deep conditioning treatments. It doesn't have to be an expensive one, you can make your own using your favorite conditioner, oils, and honey. Try a protein treatment as well to help your hair regain elasticity.

Try pro naturals argan oil hair mask! It's awesome for dry and damaged hair. You can also massage your scalp once a week with coconut oil, almond oil or argan oil to help stimulate health and growth, and leave in the oil for about 30-50 minutes to let it sink in and work. This kind of thing is very repairing, I recommend it!

Deep conditioning masks, try some of the leave in hair treatments from lush. Do hot oil treatments every two weeks or so. Get a good conditioner and instead of washing it out straight away leave it in there for a couple minutes, deep condition maybe once a week or when you feeel the need to.
