I'm confused as to why, when and how you would wet eye shadow?

It makes the eye shadow vibrant and it can also turn the glitter shadow to a foiled eyeshadow. They use Mac fix plus or eye drops. I tend to use the elf setting spray.

Yes I totally agree using shadow wet is amazing, but 1st you have to make sure the shadow is the wet/dry kind, usually the description of the eyeshadow product itself will tell you if you can use it wet. Any loose pigments, Mac veluxe pearl, extra demention, and mineralized shadows are also wet/dry. I to either use fix + or Duraline by inglot cosmetics. It honestly gives the shadows like said above a vibrant foiled look. I know a lot of stila cosmetics eyeshadows are wet/dry as well as some of kvd shadows. I wouldn't recommend wetting regular Mac shadows, ud shadows except if you own the electric pallet.

It works well with most shadows but definitely not mattes. my ud electric palette has an almost unusable pink because I tried it wet and it gave the shadow in the pan a weird hard layer.
