So about the Naked palette...and any palette in general?

Can you mix any and all of the colors in the Naked 3 Palette (or any eyeshadow palette I suppose) to create a 'look'? Is that the point of an eyeshadow palette, or are there unspoken rules about eyeshadow palettes? Thanks!!

Well you can mix them. It's really personal preference. You can do the basic combinations or get creative and make some up

Thank you!! But in general, with eyeshadow palettes, there aren't too many colors that will look terrible mixed? I figured that's how they picked what goes in what palette but I just wasn't sure.

I mix colors from different palettes and different brands too - there are no rules you can mix and match any colors within or outside of palettes but I think the colors in a palette are all designed to work together and give a multitude of possible looks you can take on the go.

Thanks so much Diana! I feel very confident in makeup in all other aspects, just not eyeshadow. I feel like I don't know what I'm doing, but that makes me feel a lot better to just bye palettes and comfortably mix and match.
