You should only pop pimples right after getting out if the shower or washing your face it keeps bacteria from spreading and make the popping easier and better.

Sometimes when you pop a spot the puss/bacteria goes everywhere and if this bacteria can reach another part of your face and produce another spot. But if you know what your doing you're fine.:)

I went to 2 different beauty schools. 1 of them being the Paul Mitchell school. So I kinda know my stuff:)... First u want to open ur pores by getting a steamer or boiling some water and putting ur face into the vapor, or getting a CLEAN wash cloth and get it damp with hot water, and cover ur face with it for a couple minutes. Then once they are open u grab 2 tissues and wrap them around both index fingers tightly (covering the tips of ur fingers) then stretch the skin in the area of the blemish, then gently get under the bump of the blemish and wiggle ur fingers side to side instead of just forcing ur fingers together to squeeze everything out. This way u don't push the bacteria even deeper.

I think it has alot to do on how many pimples you have. I just get the here or there. it's rare and I always poop them I have zero scars.

Definitely don't! I've heard of some ways that are okay, but I do know that if you do pop a pimple, putting a warm/hot washcloth over it helps get more of the pus to the surface. But ultimately, you can get scars and scabs, which are harder to cover up than the original pimple. My recommendation is not to, unless if its ready, and use that warm washcloth, for way less scarring :)

My dermatologist suggested NOT to pop pimples. When you pop a pimples you ultimately rush pushing the pus further into your face causing a potential infection. Not only do you push the pus further in, you also break the skin potentially allowing harmful bacteria to enter what would now be a wound. Your best option would be to simply allow your pimple to run its course.

It's bad!!! It can push gunk farther down in your pores and cause cystic acne. It can scar.. it can scar and become discolored, it can become even larger, it will turn bright red, it will spread oil and gunk (official term) all over your face, so you will get additional breakouts. If you must, you an extractor and do not use your fingers!! Your face will thank you for it later.

I feel that not popping them helps them to not come back. I have very dry skin so I usually don't get pimples very often. But when I do I don't touch them! It works for me!

I find that if I don't pop them they take much longer to heal and leave worse scars. I suffer from acne and my dr told me to leave them alone and so I did but I ended with with 2 scars deeper than any others I've had because the pus sort of hardened and the skin became thin and the whole thing came off by itself.

Yes most likely. I've never had issues with any of mine scanning or popping inwards. I have no scars either.
