Would anyone recommend getting one off ebay and doing it yourself at home? Like is it a big no no or have people had good experience doing it?

Oh I would definitely not!! I wouldn't even use a dermaroller, but if you talk with a dermatologist and she thinks its a good idea for you to have one I would get her advice on which to get! I have heard horror stories about the needles being to long and causing harm!

I bought mine off amazon not eBay. I checked the ratings, got a 1mm since I use it for my face and only do it once every 2 weeks. I just recently purchased a vitamin c serum to use after dermarolling.

I just started so I haven't seen any difference, neither bad or good. Hopefully I can see improvement with the serum.
