It's a cute casual dress,not trashy at all, but since it's prom, you have an excuse to go all out and buy a more "extravagant" dress. So personally I would save this for a different occasion.

Well...there's nothing trashy about this dress...AT ALL..but I will agree that it's not really good for prom. It's a little too casual. Cute though for other things 😊
