should I cut my hair?

I've never cut my hair, but in going for a new look... Should I cut it? If I should hoe much should I cut?

My hair goes to my waist...

If you have never cut it and it's down to your waist, do not cut a lot off, hair will always grow back, but I think if you want to cut it cut a couple inches off first then really think about if you want more off or not just make sure you're comfortable with it :-)
