I used maybelline I believe. I have very very sensitive skin. now I have to get rid of all this again. but I am required to wear makeup for my job.

Can you purchase a higher end foundation? Bare minerals and Smashbox 15 hour foundation has never broken me out and I have VERY sensitive skin. I've also recently purchased naked skin foundation by urban decay because it passed my one week test run. These three are my favorites. I've also heard that Tarte is directed towards sensitive skin but I have never tried their foundations.

Regardless of high end or lower end cosmetics you really need to get familiar as to what causes the break out if it is in fact the actual cosmetic causing it at all, also double check your moisturizer, primers, face wash, they too may not work well in combination of cosmetic. All these lines are related to a main branch so if Maybelline was what you used then L'Oréal the main brand that owns it is something you may need to research because they also own so many high end brands in Sephora like urban decay,Compare ingredients first so it narrows down the options. :) also look into cosmetics that aim highly on skin care, from higher to lower end because so many cosmetics are now making that a main importance to a product.

Yes I do agree that not all high end is suited for sensitive skin, that's why I named a few. I've tried loreal also and it broke me out, while urban decay did not. So definitely steer towards the ones that are more for sensitive skin, whenever my skin starts acting up I just go back to my bare minerals powder until all is back to normal. They have a matte version now too which is great! Good luck to you.

I would try Tarte or Clinique. Both are good for sensitive skins. Tarte takes a more natural approach and Clinique work with dermatologists and pretty much all of their foundations are oil free. I have genetic acne so I pretty much have acne no matter what products I use but I have always noticed that I can't use drugstore foundations. They always made it so much worse. I can use a couple drugstore concealers but that's about it as far as face makeup goes.
