I'm currently growing out what used to be a mullet and I have safely passed the hideous growing out stage where I could do absolutely nothing with my hair. While I can start doing up-dos and whatnot again, I do still have some restrictions as my shortest layer comes down to my chin. Any suggestions?

You could try pinning back your front layers to frame your face a bit.

My hair is kind of the same from the terrible bangs I got a few months back. I totally regret them. But mine is longer in the back. All I can suggest is pretty boring styles, like.. a really low bun and a headband and bobby pins to pin back the short layers in the front, the headband to somewhat hide the bobby pins. Curls would look gorgeous with your layers. You could braid your shortest layers in the front into a braid.

I like to do a faux bob once in awhile. Essentially you pin up the longer layers under the rest in the back. Look up YouTube tutorials. It's an easy way to completely change your look without scissors. Or maybe the headband trick where you tuck your hair into the headband. Like pictured here. I lay the band over my hair not under or in my hair, then I go all around and tuck pieces into the band. Might be worth a try.

Ugh lol sorry I didn't realize the photo was so dark. You can just barely see my black headband and I start pulling the hair into the band around my ears. It doesn't have to be precise.
