So I have long curly hair and I love it and am trying to grow it out even longer. It hits my low back and it's great but the problem is it is very very dry. I have split ends like crazy and I can't keep up with them or keep then away. I've tried many shampoo/conditioner combos that are for dry hair but they don't work as well as I need. Trying to grow it out is hard because I need a trim so often.
I've heard I should do hair masks or deep conditioners but I don't know what to get or how exactly to use them
I CAN ONLY GET DRUGSTORE PRODUCTS
(Sorry for all caps but sometimes ppl don't get it)
Right now I'm using Pantene shampoo/conditioner.
I hardly use heat on my hair. And when I do I use TRESemme "thermal creations" heat protection.
And I take pretty cool temp showers
I just would like products and routines please
(Sorry for the long post)
Thank you thank you in advance!

I've heard coconut oil works well! You can find it online for pretty cheap.

To get rid of the split ends the only way is to cut them off. Try the loreal advanced hair care line for dry and damaged hair, they have shampoos, conditioners, hair oils (my personal fav), sprays, and masks all to help people with dry hair.

L'Oreal Advanced Haircare line works very well; they have shampoos and conditioners tailored for lots of different specific needs (dry and damaged hair, volume filler, etc.). The Dove Pure Care Dry Oil line also works wonders (in addition, they also sell an actual hair oil that is amazing!). Due to bleaching my hair, I used to have super dry ends but after using these shampoos/conditioner duo, they have just disappeared. Both work well, but if I could only recommend one, I would say pick up the Dove ones; after only one use, my hair felt noticeably softer. Hope I helped and good luck Denali :)

Shampoos with No sulfate are good. I use to use the Shea moisture shampoo &conditioner they are natural. but now my new favorite is the kg caretine I think that's how It's spelled

Follow the curly girl method (info on it can be found on Google) and get a trim. Split ends can't be fixed, only removed altogether.

I had hair like yours and I had to chop my split ends because they were just getting worse. There is no way to repair split ends. I wash my hair twice a week and the days I wash it I use a coconut oil hair mask (melted coconut oil slathered all over your hair but not at the roots of your hair gets greasy) if you can't find coconut oil then you can use olive oil or castor oil. After that I shampoo and condition with tressemme keratin smooth (sorry if this isn't drugstore I don't really know what that means) and then once I've lightly dried my hair with a cotton ts hurt or microfibre towel I use some argan oil and a leave in moisturiser conditioner spray

You should try homemade masks as well... they are super easy to make and gives a good result and doesn't harm your hairs. and do regular hair oiling to prevent further damage

Thank you everyone so much! I've researched lots of that but I wanted to be sure I could trust it! :)
