I really wanted to start wearing high waisted shorts and crop tops. Although, I'm a bit on the chubby side so I'm not sure if it will look stupid. I'm not really sure what types of crop tops will work well with my body.

I've seen "chubby" girls rock that outfit combo. As long as you're confident in it and don't act insecure no one will notice/care. If you have extra tummy you'd like to hide you could wear longer crop tops(:

Honestly as long as your shorts are your size there shouldn't be any reason to be insecure and you'll avoid looking like you're trying to fit into clothes that you don't fit you which is never flattering on ANYBODY! you can rock it :) there are looser crop tops, so they're not skin tight but still show off your shorts. That's personally what I'm most comfortable with!

I'm following because most of my weight is ib my stomach and I look awful in anything high wasted it looks like I am giving myself a kangaroo pouch or look like an old lady lol my stomach sticks out and is very round

If you want to ease into the idea of highwaisted shorts you can always start off with the flowy loose shorts those look really good on bc they cover a lot I personally like the way highwaisted shorts look on chubbier girls cause if you have curves show it girl 😉😊
