So for some reason, foundations are not full coverage on my face bc they just don't cover my effen hyperpigmentation which resulted from previous blemishes. They are so pigmented they show up after applying foundation; so frustrating!
I really need a foundation that covers that, is long lasting and gpes well for an oily t-zone and dry areas on the cheek and nose.
I've tried Dermablend, Estee Lauder Camouflage 2 times, but Estee Lauder doesn't carry a color for me whatsoever even though I really like it :| , Lancome 24h, Nars All Day Luminous, Nars Sheer Glow, Cover Fx and yeah...nothing covers /:

I really need full coverage.

Maybe try looking into a color corrector for your hyper pigmentation. If you haven't already you could also try adding something to your skincare routine to help lighten or fade them. Either of these ways should help it from showing under your makeup :)

Thank you girls (:
Sephora it is aha

And Sydney, I'm actually using Tamanu Oil for hyperpigmentation but I put it down for a while bc I'm trying to get to the root of my problem which is dehydrated skin x:. But I am working on my stubborn marks. Just put on hold for now aha.
But I definitely need to buy a color corrector :3
But I don't know which to purcahse x:

I see :) I'm working on a similar problem and have yet to find a good, affordable color corrector. Elf makes a color corrector palette which I've heard is OK but haven't tried it myself.

It's so frustrating huh/:.
And I'd try physician's formula (:. Physicians formula rsx I believe? I'm goign to try it out since all you need is the smallest amount for incredible coverage :3

You mentioned using Dermablend and not having success...did you also use the setting powder that they also make and what was your application technique with it as well because my daughter uses it to cover up client tats for weddings and its undetectable.

I use NYX Orange concealer in a jar. Works like a charm color correcting my dark areas. Only $5.

Kat Von D Lock It Foundation will cover basically anything and everything and last the entire day. Used in combo with the concealer, it's perfect. You'll need a good transparent powder to go over it for sure, though. I used to use this combo daily and loved it, but just got too expensive and too heavy, so now I'm back to using Revlon Colorstay. Not as heavy, but still pretty good coverage when used with a good concealer and transparent powder.

I have tried Kat Von D's tattoo concealer and I love it so I'm betting the foundation will be great as well. Clinique's Beyond Perfecting, Estee Lauder Double Wear and Smashbox studio skin are full coverage as well. The studio skin is a bit sheer in comparison to the other two but it still gives great coverage and is buildable. I also really love Urban Decay's naked skin foundation. They also have a concealer in the same formula now and the reviews on it are really good :)

I like the neutrogena 12 hr long lasting foundation.. I find it covers all of my blemishes and red marks wonderfully.. Not sure if I would say it is full coverage though but has better coverage than my lancome teint idole 24hr

How do you apply it? :3.

Adahli M.

No problem Yaira glad I helped(:
I personally apply it with a damp beauty sponge (or beauty blender) but because I don't want that much coverage. I think if you use a brush it would give more coverage (:
