Thinkin about getting eyebrows tattooed...what do you guys think about it?
May 9, 2015
Tiffany B.
I think if you choose to do it that you need to make sure the shape you decide to get is one that you will be satisfied with for life. I don't know how fast they fade however I've worked on clients that have had them for years. Although I have many tattoos, this is personally one that I won't consider.

I don't think I could deal with that kind of commitment...plus, I looked at your pictures, and I don't see why you would truly NEED eyebrows tattooed on. But if it's something you want, I say go for it.

Which one?
the individual brow hairs tattooed on, or the whole thing?
May 9, 2015
Bre H.
I have mine for 8 years now and I don't regret it.

Tiffany B.
Wow Bre, I think that's the most natural tattooed brow I've seen.

I wouldn't commit to that. your brows looks great according to your pictures! just leave them be ♡ you could always fill them in!

I also went to a lady who does like tattooed eyeliner tattoo lipstick I didn't just go to the tattoo shop.

@ Tiffany I actually go over with the dark brown because I've had them for so long lol that might be it too.

I agree with Tiffany. When I first read that Bre had hers done, I thought they looked so great I started wanting them myself lol. But I've also seen some pretty bad ones so if you decide to do it you need to find a artist as talented as Bres!

Idk but they look great, I would've never guessed you had them done.

If I had the money and felt like I could trust anyone that much, I would do it. I would like my natural brow shape back so much! If you always do yours the same way and know what you like/flatters you best I say go for it!

I have been thinking about this too but I have very thin patchy brows that I have over tweezed for 10 years now I'm trying to let my brows grow back and only tattoo what is needed hopefully not though but I've looked online and seen great work even watched a few YouTube videos if you do I would love to see them

Your brows are perfect, seriously. You don't need that and with the risks of people messing them up (it happens to a lot of people, they say they like them but we all know they look bad) I think it's not worth the risk! If you really want to the yeah the single hair ones are definitely the way to go.

I had my done almost 10 years now. They are kind of fading now but it is normal. I do recommend to look for a professional, experience person.

Are you going to do a tattoo under your brows or are you going to shave your brows or wax them and just have the tattoo brows?
May 9, 2015
Gabby M.
I would try to grow them out as much as you can first, and if you really still want them tattooed then just make sure you go to a very veryyy experienced and good tattoo artist, because I've seen some amazing eyebrows tattooed that literally looked like little strands of hair (which should be the way it should look) but I've also seen pretty bad ones that are clearly tattooed and look really unnatural, so all I would really recommend if you do decide to do it is do your research, ask them for some pictures of their work, etc.and make sure you get the best person you possibly can, because after all it'll be permanent!

Don't go with a trendy brow style. When I go to South Florida I always manage to see one person who isn't aging well with scary looking tat brows. They probably looked great in their younger days but once you start hitting 40+ things start to shift south and brow area is no exception.
May 9, 2015
Rissa G.
Yes Shelley! Keep in mind, with tattoos, once your skin starts shifting around so does your brows. Half of the older generation in my family have eyebrow tattoos and they look quite weird now that they're in their 60s-80s. Also, it seems they fade to a weird color they're either green hued or red hued. Anyways, I'm all for tattoos, I love them, but this would not be one I'd opt for. However, if you do go through with it, I agree; LOOK for an experienced reputable artist, and get single strands, because the blocks of color I see are not a good look in my opinion.

Elana S.
In my opinion, I don't think its a great idea. As it is, its very very easy to make brows look unatural and fake, and I feel like tattoos will only make that a bigger risk.
Also, brows are really in style now, what are you going to do when they arent? Or when a different brow shape is in style? Then you can't really change it because the ink is placed in that specific shape.
May 10, 2015
R K.
Not a bad idea as long as they don't look fake.
May 10, 2015
Mariana M.
I wouldn't do it because if you don't like it you can never change it plus your eyebrows are amazing.
