I 3rd the hourglass primer. it's starts creamy dries to powder and keeps matte. You can try the small bottle for 16$ I actually mix that with the nyx Angel veil. SHEER PERFECTION.

I can also add that I sampled the MUFE matte primer and really didn't like it..the texture was weird to me and I didn't feel like it did as much mattifying as what the others are capable of doing.

I second cover fx or the hourglass mineral veil..they both work sooo well.

Hourglass veil primer I just got that omg!! I'm loving.

Rommel makes a good matte primer.

I agree I love the coverFX one but if you have any sensitivity to salicyclic acid I wouldn't recommend it - also the hourglass mineral veil has a matte finish because it starts creamy and finishes like a powder

Do you need it right away? I'd wait for the MUFE. I actually love the Smashbox pore minimizing primer for mattifying purposes, you could try that one:)

I recently got a sample of the BECCA Ever-matter poreless priming perfector because Sephora didnt have what I had originally wanted to purchase which was MUFE step 1 mattifying primer so they gave me a sample of this one but I'm not sure if I love it for $36 can anyone recommend another mattifying primer??
